Overcast. Some rain. So So road condition. Just don't feel like turning those pedals. To make matters worse, there is a crack across the road every 20 ft. for 60 km. (not unusual)
The effects from these cracks in the pavement are amplified by the weight of the bicycle and the high tire pressure. Our combined weight is around 300lbs . Shirley, me and the supplies account for 99.76 %, while Highwaycat accounts for the remainder. Small cracks feel like Speed Bumps.
THUM THUMP, THUMP THUMP, THUMP THUMP ... for 3 hours, AAAARRRGGGHHHH !!!
"One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest" comes to mind. I tried swearing at the road, but the road didn't understand my anger.
Things improved when arriving in Regina. Huge Chinese Buffet lunch. Hit the spot big time, quiet too. Brought my bike into the entrance-way, sweet. I like that "deally". (Homerism)
Felt better. Found Bank and beer, headed to home base. (like I needed to add more weight to my bike)
Nice campground.(mostly RV's). There's an old schoolhouse that anyone can use for quiet time, reading or whatever, really cool. There's power and WI FI in there. My GOOGLE Central. Cool !

I like signs like this...Whenever I come upon a highway sign especially after seeing nothing for a long time, I yell out "SIGNAGE AHEAD" it's very exciting. Honest. HWC hates it.
